Black Nebula . Brimming with anthocyanins and sporting a mesmerizing solid dark core, this sweet and ever-slightly bitter carrot holds its color even when cooked unlike other purple carrots.
Kyoto Red . Among the sweetest carrots available, its flavor and unique color becomes more intense when grown in cooler temperatures.
Sundrop™ . A reliably tender and crisp variety, sweet even for a yellow carrot.
Clair de Lune™ . White carrots taste more earthy than other carrots but remain distinct from that of parsnips (which are often sold as "white carrots"!).
Quick tip for use:
KinderCarrots' unique marriage of slender form and full flavor lend them to a wide range of elegant preparation. Lay them in a single row as in the photo and splash with olive oil, kosher salt, and cracked pepper, then cover with foil and roast at 400F for 25-30 min, turning carrots over once mid-way.
