2-3x larger than typical ground cherries, Pichuberries burst with a pineappley, slightly mangoey tropical funk with a hint of tomato that no "caped gooseberry" even come close to. Their papery husk protect as the berries grow on the branches and double as unique decoration even on the plate!
Quick tip for use:
Pickle them, pop them in your mouth like chips, make a jam or chutney, blend into açai bowls, or top them on salads as you would tomato.
